Working at Neptune

Neptune is an independent and privately owned investment management company, founded in 2002 by Robin Geffen. We are focused on delivering excellence in investment management, powered by high quality, internally produced research. We believe that in an increasingly globalised world, equities should be viewed at an industry or sector level, rather than taking a more traditional regional or benchmark-driven approach.

Approximately 75% of Neptune is owned by its employees and directors. We have a collaborative culture and everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas to the business from their first day.

Our investment team

Neptune's Analysts are encouraged to think independently and creatively and to quickly contribute to the team. The team-based approach that underpins our investment process requires analysts to enjoy a stimulating and friendly atmosphere where a wide range of non-academic interests are welcomed.

As a dynamic and innovative company, we are dedicated to nurturing and developing talent, which has helped members of our investment team win awards for their work. We are proud of our growing team and operate a meritocracy, allowing for fast career progression; a significant number of Analysts have progressed to become Fund Managers and Investment Directors.

Rewards

In addition to a generous benefits package, we also support our investment team in gaining the necessary professional qualifications, such as the Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification.
